Job Purpose:

The EPR Process Improvement Lead will use their deep contextual understanding of healthcare business and clinical EPR processes to work with and influence stakeholders to

develop, protect and measure process standardisation, performance, and effectiveness.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement, healthcare operations, or related field

  • Proven track record of successfully leading process improvement initiatives in a healthcare setting

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and interpretation

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Change management expertise with the ability to drive organizational change

  • Knowledge of Electronic Patient Record (EPR) systems and healthcare IT processes

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process Analysis: Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing processes within Ramsay Health Care UK Hospitals, including clinical and administrative workflows, to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.

  • Capability Gap Identification: Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to identify capability gaps and performance bottlenecks hindering operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Efficiency Enhancement: Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and improve overall efficiency within Ramsay Health Care UK facilities.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise data analysis techniques to gather and analyse relevant performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to drive adoption of new processes and ensure sustainable improvements across Ramsay Health Care UK hospitals.

  • Continuous Improvement Culture: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organisation, encouraging staff engagement and participation in process enhancement initiatives.

  • Training and Development: Work with the Implementation Team to develop programs to equip staff with the skills and knowledge required to support process improvement initiatives effectively.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including clinical, technical, operational, and administrative stakeholders, to drive alignment and integration of process improvement efforts.

  • Performance Monitoring: Establish mechanisms for ongoing performance monitoring and evaluation to track the effectiveness of process improvement initiatives and identify areas for further enhancement.

  • Future Development: Understand the IMS and Digital Health roadmap and releases, ensuring sites adopt incremental benefits through effective change management. Review the external environment to identify opportunities or threats for EPR, staying informed about industry trends and best practices

  • Risk Management: Escalates all clinical concerns through the Clinical Safety Officer (CSO), all other concerns via the EPR Business Owner. Supports the CSO with the Ramsay EPR Clinical Hazard Log review, highlighting any new Clinical Hazards and providing updates on existing Hazards.
