Outsourcing Senior/Supervisor

Location: St AlbansSalary: Up to £45,000 (DOE)

We are recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking and tech-savvy accountancy firm that is looking to expand its team with a Outsourcing Senior / Supervisor.

The role:

• This role will involve a mix of hands-on accounting work and team supervision, with a strong focus on cloud-based solutions. Key responsibilities include:
• Overseeing workflow and mentoring junior team members, ensuring high-quality work and ongoing development.
• Supporting the onboarding and training of clients and staff in cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Dext, and Sage.
• Staying up to date with the latest software developments and helping implement process improvements within the firm.
• Assisting with client transitions, software conversions, and bespoke digital solutions.
• Managing bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Collaborating with partners and senior staff to ensure smooth client service delivery.

About you:

• We are looking for a proactive and tech-savvy individual with:
• Strong experience in cloud-based accounting software and digital tools.
• Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to train and support colleagues and clients.
• A solid background in bookkeeping, VAT, and management accounts.
• A keen interest in emerging accounting technologies and process efficiencies.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or mentoring role within an accountancy firm.
