Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems in commercial environments. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, a focus on customer service, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems in commercial including cold storage units, air conditioning systems, and refrigeration units.

* Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in refrigeration and air conditioning systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements to restore functionality.

* Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety standards.

* Ensure all refrigeration systems operate efficiently, with minimal energy consumption, and are compliant with environmental and safety regulations.

* Provide technical support to clients, offering expert advice on system operation, energy-saving practices, and equipment upgrades.

* Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation, including maintenance records, service reports, and compliance certifications.

* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that tools, equipment, and parts are managed and stored properly.

* Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing clear explanations of repairs and ongoing maintenance requirements.

* Adhere to all health and safety standards and regulations while working on refrigeration systems.

Skills & Qualifications:

* Relevant qualifications in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (e.g., City & Guilds 2079, F-Gas certification, NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent).

* Previous experience in a refrigeration engineer role is required, with a strong back ground in both installation and maintenance of refrigeration systems.

* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

* Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices for refrigerants and refrigerant handling.

* Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

* Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues professionally.

* Full UK driving license (if required for travel to various sites).

* Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in refrigeration units is essential
