We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate Computer Science Teacher for a mainstream secondary school in Tamworth. Role and Responsibilities:
- Teach Computer Science across Key Stages 3 to 5, delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to promote student engagement and achievement.
- Monitor, assess, and report on students' progress, providing feedback and support to help them reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and effective Computer Science curriculum.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training, and continuous professional development.
- Foster a positive learning environment, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3-KS5 in a secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Computer Science curriculum and current educational practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
