Sales Team Member

Pertemps are currently looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our client's internal sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about engineering and customer service to grow within a stable and supportive company.

Key Responsibilities of this Sales Team Member:

Handle incoming enquiries via telephone and email
Prepare quotations to meet customer specifications
Ensure correct product selection in line with customer needs
Liaise with customers, area sales managers, and the management team
Maintain close client relationships to build rapport and encourage loyalty
Provide feedback on market trends and customer information
Use CRM, accounting, and sizing software
Identify training needs to support career progression
Undertake any additional duties necessary to meet business requirements
Adhere to Health & Safety policies and proceduresSkills required for this Sales Team Member role:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong prioritisation and time management abilities
Ability to manage your own workload effectively
Team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
Proactive in seeking and developing new profitable opportunities
Self-motivated and confident in dealing with a variety of customer enquiries
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Good standard of English and Maths
Computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Office
Strong personal skills and customer-facing experienceWhat this Sales Team Member role offers:

30 days holiday (including statutory), rising to 33 days after one year of service and at the start of the next calendar year

Office hours between 08:00 and 18:00
Flexibility to work contracted hours over 4 days, subject to workload and management discretion
