Holt Executive are partnered with a leading design and manufacturing business who are seeking a Naval Sales Manager.

This Naval Sales Manager position is to drive strategic growth in the naval business sector by securing new client partnerships. You will work closely with the Bids and Proposals team to identify land opportunities, develop proposals, and secure acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities for the Naval Sales Manager:

Achieve designated sales targets within the Naval sector, contributing to the overall company budget.
Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the Naval sector. Assess each opportunity's fit with company strategy, capability requirements, competition, resource availability, and probability of win (PWin).
Contribute to building and maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified Naval prospects and opportunities.
Participate in managing the Naval order pipeline, ensuring the smooth progression of opportunities.
Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers across the Naval sector, including prime contractors, shipbuilders, systems integrators, and end users in the UK, Europe, and internationally.
Provide vital insights into the Naval sector to inform company strategy and investment cases.
Present summaries of new Naval prospects and opportunities to the Senior Leadership Team for review and decision.
Capture and disseminate relevant competitor and market intelligence for the Naval Sector.Skill & Experience Required by the Naval Sales Manager:

Essential -

Experience in the defence industry, in a customer-facing role (not necessarily sales).
Knowledge of the UK, European and international defence markets.
Strategic thinker, who recognises business opportunities and their potential impact on the overall business.
Be able to achieve SC clearance.Desirable -

Navy or maritime experience.
Prior experience in a sales or business development role.
Direct experience in selling or working with sensor systems.
Broad understanding of emerging technologies (software, hardware, network) and their potential relevance to products and services Company Benefits:
