Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for an exciting opportunity to support students and enhance learning in a Stockport school? About the Role:

As a HLTA, you will take on a more advanced role within the classroom, supporting teachers and leading learning activities across different age groups. Your key responsibilities will include:

Delivering lessons in the absence of the teacher, following planned activities.

Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups to enhance learning outcomes.

*

Assisting with lesson planning and resource preparation.

*

Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.

*

Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to meet students' needs.

*

Providing targeted interventions for pupils who require additional help.

*

Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence in learning.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for a confident and motivated HLTA who:

Holds a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification or equivalent.

*

Has previous experience leading lessons and supporting learners in a school setting.

*

Has strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.

*

Can adapt learning activities to support students of all abilities.

*

Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.

*

Is committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

*

Possesses a valid DBS check or is willing to obtain one.
