EMBS Engineering is actively seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established precision engineering company located in North Nottingham. This is a permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to work with a globally recognised, market-leading business that supports world-renowned industry leaders.

Your responsibilities include:

* Perform planned and reactive mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance tasks.

* Maintain, service, and repair CNC lathes, milling machines, and associated equipment.

* Minimise machine downtime and implement shop floor improvements to enhance efficiency.

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

* Proven experience in maintaining CNC manufacturing equipment, including lathes and milling machines.

* Proficiency in pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes, pumps, motors, and 3-phase electrical maintenance

* Strong skills in control panel fault finding and repairs, as well as working knowledge of compressors and welding/fabrication techniques

* Competence in performing maintenance tasks for facilities and infrastructure

* IPAF and Forklift certifications (preferred).

* IEE Regulations qualification (advantageous).

* Familiarity with Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mazak/Mazatrol, and Haas control systems (preferred).

* Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, and automation technologies (advantageous).
