As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with a range of additional needs, helping them navigate academic and personal challenges. Working within a forward-thinking and inclusive school setting, you'll have the opportunity to provide tailored support, foster a positive learning environment, and collaborate closely with teachers to meet the unique needs of each student. Although previous experience working with SEN children is advantageous, we warmly welcome individuals who are driven by empathy and enthusiasm to make an impact in students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Offer individual and small-group support to students with Autism, ADHD, and other special educational needs.
Assist in creating an engaging and structured learning environment to support each student's development.
Work collaboratively with teachers to maintain positive classroom behavior and support lesson objectives.
Assist with personal care, medical needs, and physical activities, including swimming, PE, and outdoor experiences such as Forest School.
Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment, championing the progress of all students in your care.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A compassionate approach with a keen desire to support children's personal and academic growth.
Exceptional attention to detail and patience in managing varying levels of needs and learning challenges.
Flexibility, reliability, and strong communication skills to work effectively within a team.
A valid right to work in the UK and a current Child Enhanced DBS certificate (or a willingness to obtain one).
A driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
