Wire Eroder

Contek are recruiting for a Wire Eroder to join an established and proven company in Redditch. This company are a forward-thinking outfit with plenty of internal investment and a positive attitude toward growth.

You must have previous experience as a Wire Eroder to be successful within your application, but we are open to receiving candidates with a few or many years' experience.

Responsibilities:

* Programming, Setting and Operating an Agie Charmilles Wire Eroder using Ficus Visual CAM (Open to other software)

* Complete low volume production on small components for a variety of industries.

* Inspection of your own components before being sent through Quality.

* Working to drawings to ensure you are supplying customers with the required quality.

* Working to tight tolerances as per the drawings required.

* Working as a team to get orders completed OTIF.

Experience required:

* Experience working Wire Eroders and ability to program.

* Comfortable working to drawings.

* Apprenticeship served or a solid foundation within engineering.

* Ideally experienced using other machine tools such as CNC/Manual Lathes/Mills but this is not essential.

* Working to tight schedules and able to handle pressure/high work load.

Hours:

Monday - Thursday
07:00 - 16:30

Friday
07:00 - 15:00

Overtime is available and paid at 1.5x your hourly rate.
