The Job Role:

We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our client's organisation located in the heart of Sheffield City Centre. Initially, this will be a four-week temporary contract, but is likely to be extended.

This role is well suited to an experienced Maintenance Technician who is confident managing a range of tasks including painting, carpentry, and handling general repairs.

This temporary Maintenance Technician role will include the following roles and responsibilities; - Responsibility for the appearance and running of the building - Conducting walk arounds to ensure the building meets the correct standard levels - Carrying out general maintenance duties including painting, basic plumbing, carpentry, fixing appliances and any repairs throughout the building - Liaising with third party contractors when required - Liaising with residents and management to ensure everybody kept in the loop with progress of maintenance requests - Moving furniture around the building as required - Managing stock levels to ensure the right tools and equipment are always available - Checking health and safety of the building each day

We would love to hear from candidates who have the following skills and experience; - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Confident and experienced handling a range of maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, joinery and carpentry - Able to move furniture - Experience of general health and safety would be a real advantage - Ideally experienced working within lettings or property maintenance - Professional and friendly manner - Confident using basic IT including the full suite of MS Office
