Position: Member Development OfficerLocation: Midlands (Hybrid Role)Duration: 12 months+Rate: Up to £25 per hour (Umbrella) – although some flexibility on this for the right candidateOffice Attendance: Minimum 2 days per week
About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated Council Member Support Officer to join a Midlands-based Council on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension. This hybrid role requires two days per week in the office but offers flexibility for hybrid working around this.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive training programme for Council Members, including strategic planning and implementation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure training meets the needs of the organisation.
- Assist with HR and legal matters as they pertain to the support and training of members.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in creating and delivering training strategies.
- Preferable background in HR and legal support.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
