LTF Recruitment are partnered with an Outstanding one form entry Primary School in Islington who are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team od dedicated support staff this new school year. This a long-term to permanent role, for the academic year at the minimum with the opportunity to progress into a permanent position.

Role Overview:

Morning: You will work 1:1 with a Year 3 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), providing focused support and helping the child access learning in a structured and nurturing environment.
Afternoon: You will assist the Year 1 class, providing general classroom support to the teacher and students, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive.Key Responsibilities:

Support the individual learning needs of a child with ASD in Year 3.
Help implement the pupil's individual education plan (IEP) and support communication and social development.
Assist with group activities, phonics, and other learning tasks in the Year 1 classroom.
Contribute to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.Requirements:

Experience working with children, particularly those with ASD, is desirable.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting young learners.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
