• Perform 2D & 3D product design using CAD, adhering to all relevant internal procedures and ISO accredited processes.
• Conduct VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) exercises on current product lines.
• Maintain product lines using applicable engineering change procedures.
• Monitor relevant standards to stay updated on any changes.
• Liaise and consult with internal departments and outside suppliers.
• Manage projects and time effectively.

Mechanical Design EngineerQualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in reading and obtaining information from British Standard and/or IEC documentation.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools, ideally Autodesk Inventor and Vault.
• Experience in the development of electrical products, ideally.
• Willingness to work within and communicate with an international team.
• Interest in sustainability, EVs, and the Circular Economy.
