About the Role: Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in the Wallasey area. We are seeking candidates who are confident in Mathematics and English to support our students in reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the classroom teacher in daily activities and classroom management.
Provide support to individual students and small groups to enhance their learning experience.
Prepare and organise instructional materials and resources.
Offer additional assistance to students with special educational needs.
Engage in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Maintain a positive and motivating classroom environment.

Requirements:

Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent (Desirable).
Previous experience working with young people.
Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable, but not essential as some training will be provided).

Eligibility Criteria:

Right to Work in the UK.
Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application.
Two professional references.
