A great opportunity for an experienced accounts payable specialist who will take control of the accounts payable function and work amongst others in the wider finance team.

This position is to be a 6-9 month minimum fixed term contract with chance of extension.

This role is offering a salary between £28,000 to £33,000.

Duties include:

• Invoice processing
• Inputting and coding invoices into the system
• Matching purchase orders with invoices
• Verifying receipts of goods/services
• Processing payments
• Ensuring payments are approved on time
• Reconciliation
• Managing suppliers
• Maintaining the data base and ensuring all supplier information is up to date
• Resolve queries and discrepancies
• Monthly reconciliations
• Generating reports
• Assisting with month end and year processes
• Ad hoc duties

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience working within an accounts payable role
• Be reliable, proactive and use their initiative
• Have strong attention to detail
• Be proficient in excel and accounting software
• Be able to communicate and work collaboratively
