An opportunity to join a Global Civil Engineering contractor with a UK turnover more than £50million. Abatec is working with an industry leader in delivering major infrastructure project in North Wales, in the recruitment of a permanent Bid Manager. Based in Swindon, our client requires a Bid Manager with a Civil Engineering background to join their Pre-Construction team and support PQQ and Tenders.

As a Bid Manager you will:

* Drive success and achievement within the Pre-Construction team

* Evaluate strategies and resources, enhancing the performance of the team.

* Managing tender documentation

* Complete PQQ's

* Track bid/tender releases

* Regularly liaise with the senior management team.

* Deliver proposals to deadlines

Our client requires a Bid Manager with:

* HND/Degree qualified (ideally)

* Experience of working within the Civil Engineering sector (preferred)

* Excellent written/verbal communication skills

* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

Salary/Benefits:

* Up to £85,000 per annum

* Match up to 8% pension

* 25 days annual leave + 8 days bank holiday

* Health Cash Plan
