Part-Time Quality Manager

ONEDP is seeking an experienced and hands-on Part-Time Quality Manager with expertise in food safety and regulatory compliance. Our client is a leading supplier to the maritime industry, specialising in a wide range of food and non-food products. With ambitious growth plans, this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic company and play a key role in driving quality standards and operational excellence.

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Quality Manager will:

* Lead the company's quality and food safety agendas.

* Support warehouse and logistics operations.

* Ensure regulatory compliance, including import/export processes and documentation.

* Engage with suppliers, customers, and regulatory authorities to drive improvements.

* Oversee the technical aspects of food storage and building facilities.

* Collaborate with the leadership team to achieve business goals.

Preferred Skills and Experience

We are looking for candidates with a background in Quality Management or Food Safety, ideally with the following:

* Food safety qualification (ideally Level 4).

* HACCP certification.

* Experience with product quality and regulatory compliance (BRCGS preferred).

* Knowledge of food import/export regulations and documentation.

* Familiarity with site or building facilities related to food storage.

Training will be considered for the right candidate with transferable skills and a proactive mindset.

Hours and Salary

* Hours: 20-25 hours per week (flexible schedule to be agreed).

* Salary: Pro-rata equivalent of £40,000 per year. (£20,000 to £22,5000)
