In this 2 year fixed contract as the Programme Lead: Enterprise, you will take charge of revitalising a venue on the Trust's land.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee venue operations, balancing community and commercial use.
  • Guide community groups on generating income through events.
  • Manage and coordinate a team of sessional and contract staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and contractual regulations.
  • Keep accurate records of data, feedback, and performance outcomes.
  • Manage partnership agreements and report on agreed objectives.
  • Handle budget management and reporting responsibilities.
  • Support recruitment of junior staff.

The Person

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • At least 1 year of venue management experience.
  • Strong commercial awareness and budgeting skills.
  • A proven ability to deliver events in a venue setting.
  • Excellent time management, negotiation, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Experience working in a diverse community environment.
  • Solid IT skills (MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
