The Role

In this 2 year fixed contract as the Programme Lead: Enterprise, you will take charge of revitalising a venue on the Trust's land.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee venue operations, balancing community and commercial use.
- Guide community groups on generating income through events.
- Manage and coordinate a team of sessional and contract staff.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and contractual regulations.
- Keep accurate records of data, feedback, and performance outcomes.
- Manage partnership agreements and report on agreed objectives.
- Handle budget management and reporting responsibilities.
- Support recruitment of junior staff.

The Person
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- At least 1 year of venue management experience.
- Strong commercial awareness and budgeting skills.
- A proven ability to deliver events in a venue setting.
- Excellent time management, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Experience working in a diverse community environment.
- Solid IT skills (MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
