MERITUS are recruiting for a Project Manager to join our client in Portsmouth on an initial 12 month contract to work within the Defence and Space industry. PLEASE NOTE - This is a Hybrid role in Portsmouth with 3 days a week onsite. Candidates must have sole British Citizenship.

A good understanding of the PMI Project Management body of knowledge.
A basic understanding of AGILE project management.
Solid experience in a similar role of approving initial briefs/baselines, delivering projects and supporting bids in an engineering environment. Ideally, this will be the communications, aerospace, space or defence industriesDesirable -

A degree or equivalent in project management, business management, or a relevant engineering discipline.
A good technical background to support your project management role
STEM degree or equivalent
PMI/PMP certification
