This is a unique opportunity to manage the commercial aspects of a complex, large-scale project, ensuring successful delivery while shaping your career within one of the most respected names in the construction industry.The Role:As the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will lead the commercial team, overseeing the financial and contractual management of a major infrastructure project. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing cost control, procurement, and subcontractor relationships.
  • Preparing and reviewing contracts and tenders.
  • Ensuring compliance with all commercial processes and procedures.
  • Providing accurate financial reporting and forecasts.
  • Supporting the project team in achieving key milestones and objectives.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of Quantity Surveyors.
  • Supporting the Commercial Manager where required with other duties

We're looking for a commercially astute professional with:

  • Proven experience as a Managing Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor on large infrastructure, civil engineering or utilities projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, including NEC forms.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
