Radley Green is working with a growing business in the residential construction industry looking for a new Financial Controller.

The business is based in West London and have been growing at a fantastic rate and, due to a promotion, are now looking for their new Financial Controller.

The role will report into the Finance Director, manage a small team of finance staff and run everything reporting related for the growing business.

The role will pay £70k - £75k + bonus and great benefits depending on experience and candidates must be able to get to West London on a daily basis.

Candidates must have construction industry experience and understand CIS payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 4 junior finance staff
• Own the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts
• Ownership of the month-end process.
• Be a key point of contact in the external audit process.
• Manage VAT and all tax processes.
• Work closely on the cashflow forecasting process.
• Collaborate with the FD in establishing strong controls and processes within the finance function.
• Develop Budgets whilst working closely with the various project managers.
• Manage the CIS returns process.

Key Characteristics

• Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA accountant.
• Experience within construction is strongly desirable.
• The ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Xero experience is essential.
