Production Manager Opportunity
Location: Near Stowmarket
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Are you a proactive leader who thrives in a production environment? Do you have a passion for ensuring quality and efficiency? If so, our client has the perfect opportunity for you as a Production Manager in their family run food manufacturing facility.
As a Production Manager, you will be at the forefront of the factory operations, driving excellence and innovation. Your role will involve managing a small team and overseeing production, packaging and logistics. You'll ensure that the production plan is met efficiently, maintaining the highest quality and hygiene standards, and optimising resources to maximise gross margins. This will be a hands on role so if you enjoy getting involved and know your way around packaging and weighing equipment then this could be ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:
•Production Management: Lead a collaborative and high-performing operations team to achieve production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
•Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality monitoring systems and GMP, working with the Factory and Technical Manager to pass all relevant accreditations.
•People Management: Model core values of Respect, Professionalism, and Innovation, manage team performance and wellbeing, and foster a culture of Continuous Improvement.
•Health & Safety: Oversee factory health and safety, ensuring compliance with all guidelines and policies.

Key requirements:
•HACCP Level 2 or above
•Management Skills
•Forklift License
•Positive attitude
