A leading regional contractor are looking for an established Quantity Surveyor to join their team, working from offices in Cheshire. This business are a market leader within the Utilities sector, and are responsible for building and maintaining power infrastructure, specifically Cabling, and multi utility connections. This is an incredibly lucrative and buoyant side of the market, and this business are welcoming established Quantity Surveyors from backgrounds in civils, highways, rail, and utilities to join them in the delivery of this work across the UK.

About the Role

* Collate costs in relation to power infrastructure projects with experience of identifying commercial risks and opportunities in respect of their works, delivered mainly under a NEC or FIDIC contract

* Deliver varied commercial duties including responsibility for procuring and managing supply chain

* Optimise commercial performance through diligent cost control and value for money opportunities, whilst achieving the required standards and quality for our customers

* Create and maintain commercial relationships to both internal and external stakeholders

* Contract administration with both client and subcontractors

* Proactively drive career and personal development, including professional certification

What's Required

You are an established Quantity Surveyor with at least three/four years industry experience and a proven ability to manage projects from £100k-5m in value. You have solid NEC contractual knowledge and have industry experience in utilities, highways, civil engineering or rail sectors ideally.

What's on Offer

Basic salary is negotiable between 35-55k dependant on experience, plus car / car allowance. Full package details are available on request
