Red Sky have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Supervisor at Heathrow airport. As the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing staff both in the workshop and airside. You will be responsible for the management and delegation of day-to-day operations, adhering to and promoting safe working practices, and ensuring a high quality of customer service.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Proactively manage workshop staff and space, driving productivity and chargeable hours by ensuring hours and parts are allocated correctly
Promote safety in the workplace and workshop excellence through adherence to safe working practices for all TCR staff and visitors, including sub-contractors on site.
Ensure the workshop excellence report is completed and actioned in line with ISO procedures.
Quarantine broken tooling and equipment, and list in register as required.
List and record all new tooling in readiness for ISO checks and calibration.
Prepare quotes for customers in line with their Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Complete yard checks on the first day of shift and ensure the whiteboard is maintained with accurate status updates.
Check parts update daily to ensure all parts have been ordered.
Ensure all parts that have arrived are allocated to the jobs and handed out to the GSE Technicians.
Complete and send daily status reports to customers.
Send initial reports of any accident, incident or near miss for follow up and investigation.
Ensure all paperwork is checked and signed off, including a quality check on job completion.
Ensure pre user checks for the forklift trucks, ladders, and other equipment are completed.
Prepare a complete technical handover for the next shift, detailing all outstanding work  and ensuring that all relevant paperwork is available and correct.
Report, with full details, any underperforming staff to the Operations Manager and assist with performance reviews, return to work interviews, investigations, and disciplinary/grievance hearings where required.
About you?

Full UK driving license
Supervisory experience (essential)
Experience of working in a customer focused environment (essential)
Operational vehicle/logistical background
Experience in the vehicle maintenance sector
Able to pass 5 year employment history vetting
No unspent disqualifying convictions
Motor Mechanics - LGV (desirable)
