About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Crawley. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to engage and inspire students in Key Stages 3 and 4 (with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5). The successful candidate will help students develop strong mathematical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of the subject.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Assess, monitor, and support students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages confidence in numeracy and problem-solving.
Support students in applying mathematical concepts to real-world situations.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and teaching strategies.
Participate in school events, parents' evenings, and extracurricular activities such as math clubs and competitions.

Requirements

Essential:

A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage and inspire students.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.Desirable:

Experience teaching A-Level Mathematics.
Familiarity with modern teaching strategies and digital learning tools.
A passion for promoting numeracy and extracurricular activities
