We are pleased to be working with a well established civil structural consultancy to recruit a civil engineer offering the opportunity to contribute in the design of a range of medium and large-scale projects and engage with a diverse portfolio of clients.

As a Civil Design Engineer you will join a positive team that work well together, with a very healthy pipeline of infrastructure projects (drainage and highway), and opportunity to advance and progress your career. The role offers hybrid working 2 or 3 days a week from home.

About you and the role

* As a civil design engineer you will have 4 years or more experience in civils design

* Good working knowledge of softwares such as Civil 3D, Microdrainage, Causeway Flow

* An understanding of drainage design, SUDS, highways, cut and fill analysis

* Experience with designing a wide range of projects from conception through to completion (including calculations, drawings and specifications)

* Ideally an understanding of section 38, 278 (Highways Act) and section 104, 106 and 185 (Water industry Act) agreements

* Ideally experience in drainage (foul and surface) and roadway design
