What We Are Looking For:

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage, challenge, and inspire Year 7 students.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support where needed.
Contribute to the development of curriculum and resources, ensuring that all students have access to a broad and balanced education.
Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that caters to the needs of all learners.
Foster strong relationships with students and their families, supporting their academic and personal growth.
Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and meetings to contribute to the wider school community.
Essential Criteria:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience in teaching secondary education, preferably in Key Stage 3
Strong knowledge of the Year 7 curriculum and key transition issues
Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills
A commitment to student well-being and safeguarding
Passion for teaching and supporting students as they navigate this exciting phase of their education
