Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled HGV (LGV) Category C Class 2 Driver.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the multi drop of goods and materials across various locations.

Location: Haydock

Shift start time: 06:00hrs

Temporary role at present but ultimately Temp to Perm for the right candidate.

Immediate start please.

Duties:
- Drive Class 2 Taughtliner/Curtainsider
- Load and unload cargo securely (all drops are on pallets)
- Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to all relevant driving laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance

Skills:
- Proven experience in commercial driving
- Valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points & up to date CPC & Digital Tachograph.
- Ability to drive long distances while maintaining focus and alertness
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and customers
- Experience in multi drop.
