Our client is a well-established, independent electrical contractor specialising in commercial office lighting, power, and data fit-outs. With over two decades of experience, they pride themselves on delivering high-quality projects across the Thames Valley and London, with project values up to £1 million.

The Role

They are seeking a Working Electrical Supervisor to lead a small team of 2-3 electricians and apprentices on commercial fit-out projects. This is a hands-on role, requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to oversee and motivate staff while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and work alongside a small team on commercial office electrical installations.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Coordinate with site managers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Conduct quality control checks and resolve any on-site issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to apprentices and electricians.
  • Maintain a strong focus on health & safety, ensuring all site activities meet legal requirements.
  • Complete relevant site documentation and reports.
Requirements
  • Gold ECS Card or SMSTS Certification (essential).
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in commercial electrical projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical installation, regulations, and best practices.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
