Night Nurse Manager (Supernumerary)

36 or 48 hours per week on a rota basis (night duty)

Salary: Up to £55,000

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Nurse Manager to join our client's night team in the home. As a Night Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the care and well-being of the residents during the night shift. This position requires a qualified and experienced nurse with strong managerial and supervisory skills.

Qualifications:

• RGN (Registered General Nurse) qualification and valid UK NMC Pin
• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a nursing home or similar environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead a team and work effectively with other departments
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents
• Knowledge of current regulations and best practices in elderly or mental health care, with a commitment to upholding these standards

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and support to the night care team in a nursing home setting
• Ensure the well-being and safety of residents during the night shift, including addressing any urgent medical needs
• Oversee and manage the delivery of high-quality care, ensuring that residents receive appropriate attention and assistance
• Handle any emergencies or urgent situations that may arise during the night, coordinating with healthcare professionals as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain continuity of care and ensure seamless nighttime operations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of residents' care and activities, adhering to nursing home regulations
