My client is a well-established Mobile Elevating Work Platform manufacturer and one of the largest in Europe which supplies worldwide, to continue this they are looking for a Production Engineer to join their team. As a Production Engineer you will be responsible for defining processes and procedures within production whilst supporting the existing manufacturing of my clients existing and new products. This will be done by generating effective engineering information, systems and manufacturing processes whilst implementing and supporting a Lean Manufacturing culture.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Describe and support the lean space allocation and layout for maintenance and updates of CAD layout.
Define and support continuous improvement of process documents including sequence, task, parts, tools and HSE.
Identify and sustain required lean implementation for tools, equipment and machinery for each operation.
Lean implementation of operations - people, time, plant and equipment.
Maintaining VM date (MRP) structures and fields.
Perform and sustain HSE standards for each operation.
Define, design and sustain required jig, fixtures, lifting and production aid requirements.
Provide effective support to stakeholders.
To apply you MUST have or hold:

Experience working in a similar production engineer role.
Experience in developing and supporting new/existing production lines and plant equipment.
Knowledge of Lean/Sig Sigma within a manufacturing field.
Formal training within Lean/Six Sigma would be beneficial.
Previous engineering/manufacturing experience.
Computer literate
Good analytical skills.
Good Knowledge of HSE.
Strong organisational skills.
Able to troubleshoot and work to tight deadlines.
