The School and Role

ABC Teachers is looking for a passionate and creative Art Supply Teacher to join our team, covering schools in the vibrant Harborne area. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and creative art lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and adapt to different learning environments.
Support students in developing their artistic skills across various mediums, including drawing, painting, and sculpture.
Work collaboratively with other teachers to maintain high teaching standards.
Foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages creativity and self-expression.

Requirements

The successful Art Teacher will have;

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching art at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
Excellent communication skills and classroom management experience.
Ability to adapt to different school environments and lesson plans.
A passion for art and a strong desire to inspire students through creative teaching.
Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
