The Graduate:

At least a 2:1 bachelor's degree in psychology, or a related field.
An empathetic, caring nature.
Genuine passion for the education of young SEN pupils.
Commitment to following safeguarding procedures to keep pupils safe.
Previous experience of working with pupils, additional support needs, or in a school setting is preferable. 
The Role:

Providing 1-2-1 and small group support to SEN pupils to improve their wellbeing and achievement levels.
Working closely with teaching staff to plan and deliver stimulating lessons that are adapted to suit the individual needs of each pupil.
Aiding the development of pupils' basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Assisting in the coordination of extra-curricular activities to extend pupils' passion for education beyond the classroom.
