Salary: £30,000 basic + £5,500 bonus
Location: Leeds - Office based initially with option of hybrid after probation

We are looking for an experienced account manager to work in a fast-paced Key Account Management role based in Leeds. The role is working within the automotive industry and is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing an excellent service to their clients and enjoys working in a fast paced and team orientated role.

We are looking for someone that has strong account management skills, ideally from an automotive background but not essential, and excellent attention to detail. You will be dealing with a large variety of enquiries from clients and suppliers including producing complex quotes, dealing with product enquiries, processing orders, updating delivery details, handling complaints, liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders, checking stock availability and developing existing accounts through relationship building and upselling.

The client is offering an excellent 30k basic salary with a £5,500 bonus, great opportunities to progress your career long term and strong training and development opportunities.

The role will involve:

Providing an excellent level of service to clients to ensure customer satisfaction levels and retention of clients
Providing product, marketing and pricing information
Building strong relationships across key accounts
Ensure all company information is kept up to date on the systems
Proactively manage and grow accounts through excellent service levels and maximising inbound sales opportunities
Working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to provide an excellent service to customers
Ensuring service level agreements are met and enquiries are handled within the required time frames
Handling complaints and issues efficiently and professionallyWe are looking for:

Previous experience in the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential
Exceptional level of attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills and a willingness to work in a team
A customer centric approach, always striving to deliver service above customer expectations.
Ability to grow existing accounts through excellent service and maximising sales opportunities
