Salary: £23000 - £27000/annum

WeDoData are working with an Outstanding sixth form college in Herefordshire who are looking to appoint an IT Technician on a full-time, permanent basis.

The college is part of a wider multi-academy trust who have close-knit IT departments who collaborate closely, offering lots of learning and development opportunities for the Technician along with opportunity to progress within the Trust.

My client is looking for a technically-minded, hardworking and enthusiastic individual with a passion to learn and develop their IT skills in a supportive and inclusive environment. You would be working on 1st and 2nd line support with lots of support from a friendly and welcoming team, reporting to the college's Deputy Network Manager.

Applicants must have:

* Full Right to Work in the UK (sponsorship cannot be offered)

* Strong IT skills and experience

* Accuracy and care in their work

* A pro-active and professional approach

* Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service

* A friendly and approachable manner

* Willingness to learn

The following would be advantageous:

* Experience working in a school, college or other educational setting

* A further qualification in IT (e.g. A-level, apprenticeship)

* Experience with Office365

* Experience with MDM (mobile device management)

* Driver's license with own vehicle
