We are seeking an accomplished Accountant to support the Accounting & Finance department. This role is crucial to maintaining our not-for-profit organisation's financial health and integrity.

Description

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting & Finance department, including but limited to management accounts, year-end accounts, payroll, VAT, and tax.
• Help produce financial reports and statements for management review.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
• Coordinate and complete annual audits
• Participate in financial standards setting and forecast process
• Support month-end and year-end close process

Profile

A successful Accountant should have:

• An accounting qualification(acca, aca, cima, QBE) or similar
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
