Senior Management Accountant (Revenue), PE Backed Technology, London, up to £75k + 15% bonus

I am working with a Market Leading, Private Equity backed technology business who are looking for a technically astute, revenue focused Management Accountant to join their growing finance function.

Private Equity backed by a FTSE 100, instantly recognisable, PE Powerhouse, they have turned their focus to investing in upskilling the business and driving optimisation and financial insight to accelerate their vision. This business has seen sustained organic growth alongside several recent deals which have accelerated their brand even further.

Reporting directly to the talented Senior Finance Manager the revenue focused Senior Management Accountant, will oversee financial reporting and provide support for all revenue streams, cost of sales, and gross margins. Your responsibilities will include managing month-end activities, preparing and analysing financial data, explaining budget variances, providing insights into trends and impacts, and presenting the results to senior leadership. You will also be integral to finance improvement initiatives, focusing on process enhancement, data quality, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain detailed records related to revenue, including schedules for deferred and accrued revenue, and regularly report on these figures.
  • Act as the primary expert on all matters related to revenue and IFRS 15, including contract modifications and sales incentives.
  • Work closely with the Commercial and Contracts teams to ensure revenue is recognised accurately and in compliance with customer contract terms.
  • Prepare and present Sales and Delivery KPIs, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive reporting.
  • Support audit processes by providing thorough explanations and documentation for your areas of responsibility.

Essentials

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2+ years of Post Qualified Experience within industry in a similar role
  • In-depth understanding and proven experience with IFRS15
  • Ability to roll sleeves up and get stuck in
