Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Managing Director to join the team.

Location: Lincoln (relocation supported from within the UK)

About The Company:

This well-respected, certified B Corp company aims to provide unique and exciting getaways rooted deep in the sprawling forests of the UK. Sustainability and environmentally focused tourism form their core values, developing and managing eco-cabin sites within Great Britain's forest. They currently have 3 sites across Britain with plans to expand this further over the next 5 years.

Managing Director – The Role:

As Managing Director, you will be responsible for the overall day to day management of the sites as well as driving the future long-term commercial strategy. You will act as the first point of contact for the senior managers and will be responsible for spearheading our client's ambitious growth and development plans.

Managing Director – Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise all operational elements of the business, covering primary and secondary revenue streams, cost management, guest satisfaction, health and safety, and regulatory adherence

- Seek and capitalise on growth prospects, including organic development and strategic alliances

- Perform market research and analysis to spot emerging trends

- Develop, support, and empower a high-performing team that can achieve the company's strategic goals and deliver outstanding results.

- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning, and encourage innovation and creativity with an entrepreneurial mindset.

- Advocate for a customer-focused approach, ensuring every guest has a memorable and sustainable forest experience

- Uphold the company's values, dedication to environmental stewardship, responsible tourism, and community involvement

Managing Director – You:

- Demonstrated history of leadership, preferably within the retail, hospitality, travel, or leisure industries, with a background in fostering growth and generating value

- Possesses strong business insight and a strategic mindset, capable of converting vision into practical plans and measurable outcomes

- Previous P&L responsibility at a similar level

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities, with a talent for influencing and collaborating across organisational boundaries

- Proven track record in commercial financial management

- Driven by a passion for nature, sustainability, and crafting unforgettable guest experiences while ensuring outstanding long-term financial success
