Reed Industrial are hiring on behalf of a global leader in the environmental sustainability and recycling industry!We are delighted to share an opportunity for a skilled maintenance fitter to join our client and support their operations at their headquarters in Long Marston. The roleAs a key member of the team, you will assist with the maintenance and day-to-day running of all fixed plant and machinery, ensuring maximum equipment reliability and production efficiency.

• £14.93 per hour
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Rotating shifts, 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm
• Long Marston, Stratford-upon-Avon 

Key accountabilitiesKey Responsibilities

• Swift Response: Quickly address and assist in correcting plant breakdowns.
• Maintenance & Repair: Oversee the repair of plant machinery and maintenance of facilities, tooling, and equipment.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and performance of site equipment.
• Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to Supervisors in plant operations.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure plant availability and production are maintained at the highest possible level.
• Compliance: Adhere to legislation and company standards, including Code of Conduct, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Community policies.
• Versatility: Perform other duties as required to support the company’s goals.

Skills & experience

• Experience in medium to heavy industry.
• Welding/fabricating experience and qualifications.
• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Electrical qualifications (advantageous).
• FLT licence would be advantageous.
