Accounts & Audit Senior (Practice)

Salary: £40k - £48k DOE + Great company benefit package

Location: Eastbourne

Hours: Mon - Fri 08.45am - 17.30pm (they can be flexible for the right candidate)

If so, I have a great opportunity to join my clients accounts and audit team, where you will be assisting in tax compliance, accounting and auditing tasks based out of their offices in Eastbourne.

You must have a background within practice and be ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified and have great attention to detail with great communication skills. This role will be 75% audit based and 25% accounts work.

Responsibilities:

• Assist managers on accounts preparation, tax and auditing.
• Manage your own workload and be able to prioritise effectively.
• Preparing FRS 105, FRS 102 1a and FRS 102 accounts.
• Assist with the planning of audits.
• Attend in-house technical training as required.
• Cultivate strong working relationships with clients.

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience to apply:

• Proven practice experience with experience of accounts preparation, tax compliance knowledge and auditing.
• ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified.
• Experience in preparing FRS 105, FRS 102 1a and FRS 102 accounts.
• Highly organised, great attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong IT skills.
• A natural problem solver with and investigative nature.
• Great communication skills and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
