Job Specification:

* Location: South-East Buckinghamshire

* Job Title: Humanities Teacher

* Contract: Temp to perm

* Full/Part Time: Full Time

* Rate: £140-£200 p/d (DOE) (Paid to scale)

* Hours: 8:30am - 4pm

Job Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging Humanities lessons across key stages 3 and 4, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning

* Plan and prepare lessons that are engaging and challenging for all ability levels

* Foster an inclusive environment, encouraging students to reach their full potential

* Provide detailed and regular feedback on student achievement, progress, problems, etc.

* Promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents within and beyond the classroom in line with established policy

* Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Humanities department and the wider school

The ideal candidate:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* Proven experience teaching Humanities subjects in a secondary school setting

* Passion for Humanities and the ability to inspire students

* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities

* A proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and students

* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students

YOU MUST:

* Hold valid RIGHT TO WORK in the UK

* Hold Enhanced Child DBS on the update service

* Provide two professional references
