Art and Design Technology Technician - Location: Greenwich, Lewisham, Lambeth, Southwark
- Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

We are seeking a creative and practical individual with a passion for the arts and technology to join our vibrant and supportive team as an Art and Design Technology Technician. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic educational environment and is committed to supporting the development of young creative minds.
Day-to-day of the role: - Prepare and maintain equipment, tools, and materials for Art and Design Technology lessons.
- Assist teaching staff with the setup of practical activities and ensure all resources are ready for use.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment in workshops, studios, and classrooms.
- Provide technical support to students during practical lessons, guiding them in the safe use of equipment and materials.
- Manage the inventory of supplies and order materials as needed to ensure continuous availability.
- Assist in the development and installation of creative displays and exhibitions of students’ work.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including 3D printers, laser cutters, and traditional workshop tools.
About You: - Experience in a similar role or a strong background in Art, Design Technology, or related fields.
- Knowledge of using and maintaining workshop tools, machinery, and digital equipment.
- A creative flair and attention to detail, with the ability to assist in both traditional and modern design processes.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to supporting students in their learning and creativity.
