Description

• Supporting the finance team in managing, processing and troubleshooting various accounts and transactions
• Performing basic office tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, processing mail, filing, etc.
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Maintaining records of invoices, payments and transactions
• Preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations
• Processing reimbursements
• Assisting in internal audits, and resolving any discrepancies or errors identified
• Supporting the month-end and year-end close process

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in using MS Excel
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
• Strong numerical skills
• Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors
