CAD Technician / Estimator

Salary : £30K to £35K DOE

Day Shifts, Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm.

Our client based in Mansfield is looking for a CAD Technician / Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job Description:

Assist in CAD Design: Work closely with the design team to create detailed and accurate CAD models of GRP products, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and project managers, to understand design requirements and provide input throughout the design process.
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of design changes, revisions, and project progress.
Assist in creating and updating technical drawings and design documentation.
Learn and Apply Software Skills: Develop proficiency in CAD software - AutoCAD and leverage these skills to contribute effectively to design projects.
Quality Assurance: Assist in reviewing and validating CAD Drawings / models to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Participate in design reviews and make recommendations for improvements.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in CAD design. Actively seek opportunities for professional development.

Ideal Candidates :

Technical autocad background
Need to be able to work under pressure
Need to be able to adapt to change
2 D Autocad
Civils /manufacturing background
Or steel industry
Concrete back ground FRC /GRC/ GRP they are GRP
3 D AutoCAD advantageous
Systems - Solid works, Revit. Screwcad, Tekla, Auto desk, AutoCAD
