Design Engineer

Location: Mildenhall, Suffolk

Hours: 40 hours per week- Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Hourly Rate / Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Depending on experience

Benefits: 26 days per year + 8 bank holidays, Health Cash Plan, Death in Service Cover

What our client offers:

* Produce high quality 3D models and technical drawings

* Design and draw complex drawings, sharing knowledge and experience with the Junior staff.

* Take ownership of projects from concept to completion.

* Amend and update standard drawings using a drawing management system.

* Working closely with the sales team to raise design from customer briefs.

* Liaise with production to ensure they have the correct technical drawings.

* Support the sales and order processing team.

What we are looking for:

* Extensive previous experience using SolidWorks ad AutoCAD to produce 3D models and technical drawings.

* A design/engineering based qualification e.g A level/BTEC/Apprenticeship/Degree.

* A good working knowledge of MS Packages to include Word, Excel and Outlook

* Good Project management skills
