We are partnering with secondary schools in Liverpool to recruit Classroom Supervisors. This role offers the flexibility of daily supply work or longer-term placements, providing a fantastic opportunity for anyone considering a career in teaching.

As a Classroom Supervisor, you will:

Lead lessons for classes of around 30 pupils in the absence of the teacher.
Facilitate learning across a range of subjects (no need to be a specialist).
Use lesson plans provided in advance to guide your teaching.
Manage classroom behaviour and take attendance.
Provide a brief handover to the absent teacher.
Successful Classroom Supervisors are adaptable, confident, motivated, and well-organised. They are passionate about education and supporting young people's learning journeys.

This role is an excellent stepping stone for those considering Initial Teacher Training. If you're new to the role, we offer a comprehensive Classroom Supervisor Training Programme to equip you with all the skills you need.

Requirements

The desired Classroom Supervisor will have:

-               A degree or equivalent education

-               A willingness to learn

-               A natural leader and someone with the confidence to lead a lesson in the absence of the class teacher

-               A passion for education and providing the highest possible level of support to young people
