About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major Earthworks project in Suffolk. This is a 12-month contract working on a large-scale civil engineering scheme, involving cut & fill operations, groundworks, and infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities

* Setting out for earthworks, drainage, and infrastructure elements

* Ensuring quality control and compliance with project specifications

* Carrying out surveys and site measurements using GPS and total stations

* Managing subcontractors and liaising with the site management team

* Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with health & safety regulations

* Producing as-built drawings and supporting project documentation

Requirements

* Minimum 3 years' experience in civil engineering / earthworks

* Degree / HNC in Civil Engineering or related discipline

* Proficient with GPS, Total Stations, and AutoCAD

* Strong understanding of earthworks, cut & fill operations, and drainage

* Valid CSCS Card and UK Driving License
