Semi Senior Accountant Job Overview

Preparation of management accounts, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP/IFRS
Handling VAT returns, and bookkeeping responsibilities
Assisting clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Learning and training within audit, which could cover 10% of the role
Managing deadlines and ensuring timely submission of accounts

Semi Senior Accountant Job Requirements

Experience with management accounts and statutory accounts, with a willingness to learn in these areas
Always looking to learn, train, and develop your skillset
At least 2 years experience in accountancy practice
AAT studying or qualified, or ACCA part qualified
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
UK Citizen with no requirement for sponsorship

Semi Senior Accountant Salary & Benefits

Salary depending on experience, ranging from £23k-30k
Hybrid working - 3 days in office, and 2 days from home
Regular training, development, and progression opportunities
Statutory sick pay, pension contribution, and holiday
