What's the Job About? Ready to power up your career? As a key player in our team, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining the integrity of our cutting-edge electrical systems. You'll ensure compliance with both company and statutory requirements, answering swiftly to breakdowns and overseeing a robust maintenance and inspection system across our allocated plant and equipment locations. This role is crucial in keeping our COMAH Top Tier storage terminals and pipeline systems operating smoothly and efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing: - Maintenance Master: You'll be the go-to expert, ensuring 98% plant availability targets are met across our COMAH Top and Lower Tier storage terminals and pipelines.
- 24/7 Troubleshooter: You'll join our out-of-hours call-out roster, ready to tackle troubleshooting and corrective maintenance (call out roster will vary by team size and operational requirements but will typically be 1 in 3 weeks).
- Operational Support: Provide operational support, from procurement of spare parts to ensuring the availability of critical equipment.
- Team Player: Supporting colleagues and supervising contractors, enforcing safe systems of work, and acting as a key member of company committees and working groups.
What You'll Need: Essential Skills & Experience: - A recognised professional qualification in a relevant electrical discipline (NVQ level 3 or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and supervisory roles within an industrial environment.
- Good communication skills and proficiency in English, both written and oral.
- A full and valid driving licence.
What's on Offer - Average On-Target Earnings: The potential to earn in the region of 45-47k
- Basic Salary: £32,000 - £37,000, depending on skills and experience.
- Standby Allowance: £2,911 per annum (currently based on a 1-in-3 standby rota).
- Overtime: Overtime paid at time and a half (x1.5) and double time (x2).
